http://zagsblog.com/... ... e-howland/.

Do they go after Stevens or Shaka?

And if so, is that a job one of those 2 leaves for?

I'm sure they'd be on the list... Shaka should consider it... Stevens isn't going anywhere, IMO. There are some good recruits coming in next year so that'll be an added incentive. Of course whoever takes the job will have to retain them.

Shaka turned down Illinois and he's from there. Not saying he won't do the same for UCLA, obviously a bigger gig but wouldn't count on it.

I agree w/Ricker, even more doubtful for Stevens, but I wouldn't say never.

No coach has left on good terms since Wooden for UCLA, just an impossible job. Howland went to three straight Final Fours. Lavin had some success. One bad year or even short period of mediocrity, and your done there. They'll obviously get someone good, it's UCLA. But any coach with a good situation, might be hesitant.

I would be after a guy like Gregg Marshall...or even Enfield, who appears to coach his team very well.

Enfield? I mean if there's anyone who is not going to be motivated by $, it's him.
