He was released by the Colts and we sure need safety depth now.
Bring back Zibby?

I'd probably pass, though he shouldn't really cost much so it wouldn't hurt to bring him in.
I think Ihedigbo is better and they'd probably rather use some of those comp picks on a rookie backup safety than bring in someone with more miles but not exactly a great contributor.
He is a solid special teamer, so that makes it more likely they bring him in. I still think they look elsewhere, though.

Nah. I'm not a big fan of Ihedigbo starting, but I don't think Zbikowski is an upgrade over him. If the Ravens need ST players, and he comes cheap enough for that, then I suppose I'd talk to him. But he'd be a guy I wouldn't look at until June/July.

It's tempting at first glance, plus he would have a fairly easy time transitioning back into our system.
That said, he had a ROUGH year for the Colts. Saw just over 700 snaps and had, at most, two games of note. His best game was against Cleveland (only one of two games all year he graded positively in pass D...the other was against Tennessee). And grading out well against Brandon Weeden and Matt Hasselbeck (starting at the time) isn't saying much.
His only game worth mentioning against the run came against Jacksonville, in a game where Jalen Parmele and Rashad Jennings split carries. Not exactly the cream of the crop.
Don't get me wrong--I recognize our need for safety depth. And while I liked Zibby while he played for us, I'm not sure this is the answer.
