The moment he said what he said, it was over for him.

Glad to see he was forced out. I don't like that the Mariners took the coward way out by having him resign. But, glad to see that he lost his job.

Mariners got no-hit again last night. By the Tigers' Spencer Turnbull.

Maybe I am remembering this wrong, but wasn't there an O's team in the past 10 or so years that was no hit more than once in a season?

It happened to the Rays. I don't remember the Orioles getting no hit twice.

No way. Zero memory of a '15 no hitter.

Looks like Seattle is getting the 2023 ASG.

While we all know why the ASG isn't going to return to Baltimore (in the foreseeable future), has Manfred spoken publicly about it? I wonder if anyone has asked him why other cities are getting repeated ASGs while Baltimore is being passed over. Anyone in the biz would already know the answer, but it would be fun to watch him squirm as he talks around the question.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

I think he said Baltimore hadn't ever applied for the game.

MLB obviously hates Angelos and company, but Baltimore definitely isn't getting it as long as the Orioles continue to blatantly tank.

Interesting excuse. I suppose the O's aren't going to get into a PR battle with the home office, by calling him out on that lie.

I didn't have it exactly right - here's what Manfred said.
“Whether or not there’s an All-Star Game depends on whether Baltimore gets organized and submits a bid that would be compelling for an All-Star Game, just like any other team.”
Manfred says Orioles need 'compelling' bid to host All-Star Game - BaltimoreBaseball.com

MLB absolutely cannot give an All-Star Game to Baltimore while the Orioles are deliberately and shamelessly tanking. I think it'll take until we've been good for a few years before we're seriously considered again, and then they get awarded at least a few years out. So it's going to be a while.
