I think Rivers could have been the champ here had he stayed.

I think Adam Morrison is the dark horse here. His clutch crying will carry him.

Just looking at the Duke bracket...

I think I may be just a bit too young to have hated Laettner. In fact, I faintly remember cheering for Duke while watching as a young fan (fortunately, unlike SG, I grew out of it :)).

Honestly, I think I'd take Paulus all through this thing. Seriously, I freaking hated Paulus. He just seemed like a major tool in every way, from his whining about calls to his incessant flopping.

(This also debunks the theory that I'm a fan who hates guys out of jealousy, because seriously, who was jealous of Greg Paulus? He stunk.)

Overall, I think I'd probably go with Derrick Coleman. Just an extremely entitled young man who though the world revolved around him.

The mustache he sported will certainly garner some votes as well.

Redick gets my nod in the Duke region. I wasn't old enough/ big enough a fan to hate Laettner or Wojo. The Battier/Brand/Langdon team was the first I really followed closely.

I absolutely hated Laettner. His infamous "stomp" of Kentucky's Aminu Timberlake was just icing on the cake. I mean how does this guy make the "Dream Team" over Shaquille O'Neal? There was a minor level of satisfaction watching him flame out into journeyman status in the pros.

Because he was probably one of the 5 best college players ever and maybe the best(and perhaps the most accomplished)....and he had a very solid pro career. He wasn't a superstar but he had a long and very good career.

Rivers over Ferry(Rivers is handily winning that matchup btw).

Wojo is a good overall choice. Some of these guys, you may have hated but you have to acknowledge how good they were as players. Wojo got a lot of what he was but he wasn't really all that good...yet he was hyped that way.

Rivers would be my choice though...but that has more to do with him being very selfish and seemingly sabotaging the team last year.
