Saturday was ugly. Looking forward to tonight. Terps should be .500 in league play when this week ends.

Terps break out to an early 10-3 lead, with Mosley hitting a couple intermediate jumpers, and Padgett scoring on each of his 3 attempts.

Terps can still make the tournament if they can somehow put a good enough game together to upset NC in NC.

Too many 2nd opportunities for Miami. Padgett and Pankey were a combined 6 of 6 in the 1st half, MD 12 of 26 overall.
Faust was MD's leading rebounder in the 1st, with 3.

Really nice, gritty win coming after that debacle of a second half the other day.
MD could have folded up their tents and gone home several times in that second half. Not sure if anyone saw Turgeon's reaction during Padgett's 3-point play, but it was awesome.

Glad to see them come out with the win. It's amazing what happens when you hit your free throws
It's amazing how poor of a 3-point team they are. Granted, I don't think it can get much worse than the 1-14 they hoisted up against Duke last week.

Amazing finish to the game. That three that Mosley threw in really changed the game. Maryland made all the plays over the last few minutes. The Mosley three, the Padgett and-one, and the Faust steal combined with the Terps making all their FTs down the stretch. Just great to watch.
Padgett was really good all game long. Mosley started and ended very strong. Faust played a real tough game. Pankey was crazy active. I didn't exactly understand the Parker & Len for Stoglin & Padgett defensive switching over the last few minutes but it seemed to work very well.
I thought that while Stoglin didn't have his best shooting night by a long stretch, that he played a really good game. He didn't take any bad shots (the two threes in transition were way off the mark, very unusual for him, but I didn't think they were bad looks) and looked to get his teammates involved. He started the game off with a great pass to Padgett for a dunk and found Faust wide open underneath when rising for what would've been an open three point attempt in the second half.
