So we've now had three pale, long blonde-haired white guys win Oscars. I don't know which to laugh at more, the "Hanson" jokes or the Die Hard jokes.

I still say it doesn't win, since Affleck wasn't nominated for that category, but Best Director is a bellwether for Best Picture.Best director...Life of Pi. Another win for that movie.
