Joe Musgrove, the hometown guy, throws the first no-hitter in San Diego Padres history. An unbelievable game! Only one baserunner allowed all night, a HBP.

April 23, 1999: Fernando Tatis Sr. hits 2 grand slams in 1 inning at Dodger StadiumApril 23, 2021: Fernando Tatis Jr. hits 2 home runs at Dodger Stadium
That's a cool 22 years apart, the age of Fernando Tatis Jr. Perhaps he was a result of the celebration that ensued from that performance.

Leads the league in hits. Won a gold glove last year. Quality baseball player. Gotta be brutal to be a Pirates fan.

Probably very similar to being an Oriole fan.

They've had their legitimate injury issues, but have underachieved overall. Certainly didn't expect the Giants to do what they have done.

Everyones offseason darlings are falling apart. Looking unlikely to make the playoffs and Manny and Tatis are arguing.
I think you can talk about not arguing when cameras are pointed at you, but in general Machado was in the right, at least on the merits of their discussion.

Gotta be frustrating for them though. Such a hot start, all the hype, a FO that keeps making moves to try and make it happen. But just hasn't materialized in the second half.

Someone is taking the fall.I just think they're tight like that. Nothing to see there.

They should try and lure Maddon down the 101 from Anaheim.
