EDIT:

247 has Maryland 34th...
http://247sports.com...iteTeamRankings

They rank MD's class 8th overall in the ACC... it would be the 6th ranked class in the Big Ten.

Just saw that Kentucky has the 13th, out of 14 team, best recruiting class in the SEC this year...but would rank 4th in big Ten.

Crazy how good the SEC recruits.

Ole Miss is clearly the story today. Bama getting 4 ESPNU top 100 RB is insane though.

Roll Tide!

ESPN: Arkansas recruit remains unsigned

http://espn.go.com/c...her-sources-say

ESPN 150 running back Alex Collins still has not signed his letter of intent with Arkansas. According to two sources familiar with the situation, his mother showed up Wednesday at South Plantation High School, confiscated the documents and left.

ESPN: Reuben Foster commits to Alabama

http://espn.go.com/c...n-tigers-tattoo

His recruitment has been one of the more intriguing stories of the 2013 recruiting cycle, including moving out of Georgia to Auburn, Ala., getting an Auburn tattoo, taking official visits to West Coast programs Washington and San Diego State, and, most recently, reportedly leaving his official visit to Auburn a day early to take an unofficial trip to Alabama last weekend.

This is like those boyfriend/girlfriend tattoos then they break up, so I guess it could be worse...

I can't think of much worse than sporting an Auburn tattoo in Tuscaloosa. I hope he has some money set aside for laser removal.

I'm sure there's a booster or two more than happy to assist.

Roughly 24 hours later, Collins has finally signed with the Hogs, though the story surrounding his decision isn’t over yet. While Collins’ father accompanied him to the ceremony (and signed the NLI), Collins’ mother was noticeably absent.

The Miami Herald reports that she has hired an attorney to represent the family “while she contemplates on signing the NCAA’s Letter of Intent” that will decide where her son plays football in college.” The attorney comes from the Cochran firm, founded by O.J. Simpson lawyer Johnnie Cochran.

I'm surprised a story like this hasn't happened before.

I'm a little surprised to see the coaches reaction to this.

I'm sure a 100+ positions just opened up in the country though... that of "Texting and Social Media Recruiting Specialists". Wonder what that pays?
