CBS Sports / Dennis Dodd: http://www.cbssports...atching-bowling

There are number of games I am looking forward to. I like the Rose Bowl matchup of Wisc. and Oregon. As an ACC fan I have some interest in the Orange (Clemson vs. WVU), and Sugar (VaTech vs. Michigan) games.

Clemson and WVU should be fun because both teams will spread out and score at will. VaTech might not have deserved the at-large BCS bowl selection, but they should compete well with Michigan.

I watched the whole first game and thought it was great. I'm excited for the game tonight. I expect a bit more scoring than last game, but nothing too crazy. Maybe an extra TD for each team plus one of those FGs will become a TD, so something like 20-17 LSU.

Should be a great game. I'm not as passionate about college football as I am pro ball or college basketball, but I always check out the big games. I think Alabama wins the rematch by a FG. Let's go with 24-21.

On Twitter, I asked earlier today if LSU wins tonight, how do you compare them vs. '01 Miami, '95 Nebraska, '93 FSU, '04 USC?

LSU deserves credit for the schedule they played this year. Pretty impressive to have wins over the Rose, Orange, and Cotton winners.

If LSU wins tonight, I think they have to go down as one of the best NCAA teams in history. What they've done as far as who they've beat, and where they've beat them, is amazing.

Also, I don't think they should necessarily not be #1 (I know the coaches have to give it to them) if they lose in a close game.

That being said, I think Bama wins this game by 7 tonight. I'm not picking Nick Saban when he has 6 weeks to prepare for an opponent.

The bigger topic right now IMO is how absurd it is that a billion dollar corporation that is NCAA football has a system in which who the champion actually is will very likely be a question after the final game of the season.

The much talked about 4-team playoff is official - The President's agreed today.

Two big thumbs up for the NCAA for a huge step in the right direction.
