This is a game I really want for the Terps. MD was in-control of the game at College Park and wound up losing.

Getting the first road league victory of the year needs to happen. Would do a lot for their confidence.

I really want it for the Terps... and frankly, it's a "must have" for the Terps. There are 10 ACC games remaining following this one, sure, but with Duke and UNC left on the schedule, and some other "iffy" games, this is one you almost have to win if you're going to find yourself on the bubble or better.

FSU just got drilled by Miami...so, for the second straight game, the Terps have to go on the road to a team that lost to Miami by 25 or more points.

Big difference is Duke can score and the poor shooting in their game was an aberration..FSU has struggled to score all year.

Certainly would be a huge win for a lot of reasons. Getting a big win here would certainly help a ton from a confidence standpoint, particularly given the fact that schedule will soon be getting a lot softer.

This really has been a tough first half of the schedule. You look at MD's first 8 games and you've had @Duke, @UNC, @Miami, @FSU. Road trips to what are probably 4 of the top 5 teams in the league. Then they played the other top team, NC State, at home, along with FSU as well. So 6 of their first 8 games were against top-half of the league opponents, with 4 of those coming on the road.

I think you'll see this team put together a much better streak during the 2nd half of the season. Would be nice to jump start that a bit with a win at FSU.

The problems the Terps are having came to light in the second half. Fla. State overplayed the passing lanes, manned up hard on the guards and made it impossible for Maryland to get into a rhythm offensively.
This game demands adjustments so it will be interesting to see if the happen.
After watching the Duke game a second time I saw progress. Faust at times dod okay at the point and that has to continue.
One other point. Len must get more shots.

I'm not sure why, but I got a gut feeling the Terps play well tonight.

This is more or less a "must win" for the Terps.

Technically, they could still make the NCAA tournament without winning tonight, but I think it would be much, much harder to do so. If they beat FSU on the road, it somewhat makes up for the loss against them at Comcast. It also hopefully gets them moving in the right direction, perhaps becoming the start of a winning streak, since they have easier competition coming up.

I think at a bare minimum the Terps will need 23 regular season wins, maybe 24, and perhaps a win or two in the ACC tournament in order to secure an NCAA bid. The weaker non-conference schedule makes the win total less impressive than it otherwise would be.

The ACC schedule was definitely front-loaded, so hopefully the back stretch will result in more wins. The team has enough talent ... but it needs to put it together better. Ideally that starts this evening.

Announcer probably misspoke. He meant to say that his play recently makes everyone else ill.

Howard getting sat due to illness reminds me of awful Orioles pitchers who would all magically get the same elbow injury at the peak of their poor performance.

Uh, no Mr. Color Man. It's not a good job of officiating for a guy to award the ball to the team that knocked the ball out just because he was held. If it was a foul, call the foul.

Beautiful drive and shot by Wells gives MD a 4 point lead with 3:29 left in the contest. This has been a really good game.

Not excited for this last play. FSU has schooled us out of time-outs tonight.

Nice job Terps....what sort of clueless idiot leaves a guy like Snaer wide open in that situation? Whoever was supposed to be on him should have to walk back to College Park. Devastating loss.
