Sad to learn of Prop Joe's passing.

A couple of tweets from the great K.V.V.:

Season 4 of The Wire, IMO, is the greatest season in TV history. Chew mentored al four of the "kid" actors. He was called. He is counted.

That is an incredibly long read (that KVV tweeted), but just an awesome, awesome read. Chew really did some great work with those kids. Very cool story about Michael (Tristan Wild).

Prop Joe is Baltimore's Don Corleone. Just a masterful piece of acting on a show full of it.

I am surprised that many of the actors from this show haven't become more mainstream.

Prop Joe was a great character.
