When I was an university employee and this was back in 2007, as part of our training, they made a big deal what we put on Facebook and maybe Myspace (other social media wasn't as prominent). And I wasn't exactly known around campus, they just wanted us representing the university well at all times. It's somewhat common sense, but not everyone follows it.We talked about this on my podcast. I'm not sure if that was the right way to do it, but every college athlete should have to take a class on the effects of social media.
