LA is the favorite in the West. KC should be no higher than 4th to win the AFC right now.

The Chiefs have no defense. And the offense has not been that good either.

The Ringer: The Chiefs Defense Is a Problem—for Real This Time
Great article until they started to get into the X's and O's stuff which always loses me.
Basically, KC is on pace to be the worst defense ever.

For the second time in 3 years the Chiefs get to host the AFC championship because the #1 seed was upset in the divisional round. Cincinnati's upset of Tennessee meant KC will host Cincy instead of having to travel to Tennessee. 2 years ago KC got to host the championship when Tennessee upset Baltimore in the divisional round. Last year and in 2019, KC hosted as the #1 seed.

The Miami Dolphins of the early and mid-70s could possibly have hosted four straight championship games. However, the rules back then regarding playoff venues made such a thing impossible.

I know the Bengals had a great run, and Josh Allen and Justin Herbert are coming into their own, but I still think the Chiefs are the team to beat...even if Lamar Jackson is healthy.

Ju-Ju Smith-Schuster is a perfect fit for the KC offense. The rich get richer. Ju-Ju is an excellent support receiver. He had his best year as the second option to Antonio Brown. With Hill and Kelce drawing the most attention, Ju-Ju will take on the role that Sammy Watkins had, only he is better. Ju-Ju is great at catching the ball in traffic and getting YAC.
Kansas City seems intent on building an offense that you simply cannot stop at all. You can't stop Hill or Kelce with man on man coverage so there's always going to be a hole somewhere in your secondary and KC has so many weapons you can't cover them all.
