Captain James T Kirk, Spock and the gang hit the big screen again on May 17, 2013. Has their ever been a franchise that is more successful? I loved the last one and I'm sure that this one will be a success too, but Spock dies again?

I was never into Star Trek but liked the last one a lot. Hope they can build upon it.
