That said, Yelich is really awesome.

Marlins could have an OF of Yelich Ozuna and Stanton.  I'd be pissed if I was one of their fans.

So would Marlins fans, if they were still Marlins fans.

It wasn't that long ago where their long term outlook looked pretty damn bleak.  The Cubs and Cardinals were playing at a high level and Pitt was pretty good too.

They won 68 games in 2015 and 73 in 2016.

Nice turnaround.

FanGraphs: Top 32 Prospects: Milwaukee Brewers

Just read they may non-tender Schoop.

“Strong Possibility” Brewers Non-Tender Jonathan Schoop
November 29th, 2018 at 12:28pm CST • By Jeff Todd
With the non-tender deadline looming tomorrow, there’s a “strong possibility” the Brewers will non-tender infielder Jonathan Schoop, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic (via Twitter). A trade route is also possible, per the report; the takeaway, regardless, is that the Milwaukee organization seems to be preparing to move on.

That’d be a tough pill to swallow, given that the Brewers acquired Schoop just last summer in anticipation of a turnaround. That did not come to pass late in 2018, and evidently the organization isn’t all that optimistic that the bounce back will occur in the season to come. Or, at least, it’s not willing to pay what it’ll take to find out.
<p>I am pretty sure Shack is thinking of PBR.

Wow, he reportedly turned down 4/60.

With Knebel done for the year, do they go get Kimbrel? There was talk of them going after him anyway..now there is a larger need.

Terrible about Yelich. Heart of the division race. Feel bad for those fans. Hopefully the team rallies for him, makes a special run.
