Cincinnati wins. Why do I get the horrible feeling that the division is going to drag out to the final game against them?
And that is not going to be a fun spot to be in.

Because that's what the Ravens do. It is the organizational philosophy to not make anything easy.Cincinnati wins. Why do I get the horrible feeling that the division is going to drag out to the final game against them?

Wow, I knew it was bad, but that's just beyond words. There is no way an OC can keep his job with a stat like that.

Listen, this was a bad loss but I look at it this way. You go into the season expecting to split with the Steelers. We did that. We are also very lucky to be 9-3 and be two games up in the division. We could easily be 7-5 ourselves in which case we'd be very unlikely to win the division. The only thing this loss does is really hurt our chances at getting a 1st round bye, maybe hurts our chances at getting a #3 seed as well. I expect NE to win out and Den to win out with the only possible loss coming to us. Clearly, if we lose to the Broncos in 2 weeks we'll be the #4 seed at best.

Seriously, did Rice have a nasty breakup with Cam's daughter or something? I can't come up with a good reason for an OC not to use arguably the best RB in the league.

Like I said in the other thread, if the local media had the balls they would go after him tonight. They don't and they won't though.I'm sure Harbaugh will dismiss the inevitable line of questioning after this game, and next week we'll see the same thing.

Odd thing is he never did crap like that in San Diego when Tomlinson was the centerpiece of their offense. Or maybe it was just Schottenheimer who kept him in line back then. Paging John Harbaugh.....hello?....anyone home???

Yeah, you are right. Really is the main point, I've edited it in.
As Pierce was getting multiple carries on several drives, I had wondered if Rice was injured. However, that does not seem to be the case.
