I didn't mention Ryan, because I saw that he has an option attached to him. But I looked it up, and it's a mutual for $13M. Ain't no way he's accepting that. He's a full FA this winter, 31 years old next season.
Did not realize it was an option, but yeah he did have a late path to the bigs.
Either way, I’d be all for going after someone of a similar profile on the trade market. Being a one-year rental in their last season of arbitration does not bother me as long as you are going for it.

Actually looking into it more, while Ryan can decline the $13M option he will still be under club control, so not a free agent until after 2027.
