Who coudlda saw Adleys poor receiving and set ups would cost this team. 3 "WP" and Adley shoulda handled all of them. This backhanded pick at balls bullshit instead of breaking down and blocking the balls.


Baz giving up a 3 run lead. Finally get a lead and a multi run one at that and he ends up giving it all back and more.


This team hurts itself in so many ways. Its disgusting baseball to follow. They still dont do so many of the small things

This is yet another game where sloppiness or not being clean costs you a game. There has been at least 4 gamea now theyve lost if we win if we were a good fundamental team. We do it almost every damn night. Even in the games we win.

Like last year, Im developing strong dislike for this team. Which means its really the players and the roster. All Elias. There isnt a player I wouldnt trade right now. I guess Sammy since he is so young and starting out. Literally nonone else. Ready to retool or rebuild. Offer me fair comp for Gunnar, Adley, Bradish, Rogers, etc and you got em all. Im over em

I only saw one and it should have been a passed ball. I'm guessing all three should have been.

I'm not a big fan of the "one knee" approach to catching with runners on base

You're right, a catcher's footwork is compromised and they are left with swiping/scooping instead of utilizing the footwork associated with blocking.

It's kind of crazy that Adley would have such a poor game defensively the day after what was likely Bassallo 's best effort defensively.

Edwin Diaz was bad and now is out 3 months. The two back end guys that got multiyear deals for 50 and 60 mil respectively. FA is such a shit show man.

I saw someone complaining earlier about not trading away prospects sooner but trade them for what. Vets who are nearly as likely to be poor or injuried and cost a lot more.

Point is only that production seems really random anymore. Sure the tippy top elite players seem likely to produce year in and year out if healthy but just feels like no one is really reliable anymore
