Regardless of the outcome here it’s a really bad decision.
I don't understand it at all.

Damn...
The run-scoring pitch was hard to handle but the pitch on the strike out should have been caught.
Good game. Can't get too down on Garcia for that HR. He's been fantastic.

On the flip side it was good to see life out of Alonso, Mayo, and Henderson.
Not to mention two hits from Rutschman

Who coudlda saw Adleys poor receiving and set ups would cost this team. 3 "WP" and Adley shoulda handled all of them. This backhanded pick at balls bullshit instead of breaking down and blocking the balls.
Baz giving up a 3 run lead. Finally get a lead and a multi run one at that and he ends up giving it all back and more.
This team hurts itself in so many ways. Its disgusting baseball to follow. They still dont do so many of the small things

You knew Kimbrelsley was going to implode at some point.

ROFL. Helsley has actually been ok. Imagine how insufferable NMS would be if we had signed Devin Williams instead.

Point is only that production seems really random anymore. Sure the tippy top elite players seem likely to produce year in and year out if healthy but just feels like no one is really reliable anymoreEdwin Diaz was bad and now is out 3 months. The two back end guys that got multiyear deals for 50 and 60 mil respectively. FA is such a shit show man.
I saw someone complaining earlier about not trading away prospects sooner but trade them for what. Vets who are nearly as likely to be poor or injuried and cost a lot more.

I've said all along the guy gives me Kimbrel vibes. Kimbrel was decent until...June? There's still time.
