Just checked the box score. Wells had his best outing of the year.

Who are they? Where are they coming from?
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Really the only bright spot.

Was never clear to me why they didn't keep him in a starting role.

Cause he'll be hurt after around 100 innings.

We were told to expect an “elite talent pipeline.” Seven-plus seasons later, this is what we have to show for it….a couple good players and bunch of flashes in the pan. Whoopee..

Yep, anyone who says the Elias era hasn't underdelivered, just doesn't want to admit the truth.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

Getting Adley back is going to help.

We're about to get a couple of relievers back although the bullpen is not really the problem on this team.

Having O'Neil in the lineup makes it harder to pitch around the guys in front of him

Jackson Holliday creates interesting possibilities - at best, it means that we have him and J. Jackson in the infield/lineup and Mayo either on the bench or back in Triple A. Or, it means one of our best young players is there to step in if/when J. Jackson cools off. I guess it depends on whether or not you think this is the real J Jackson or a fluke.

Bad outfield defense and a lineup that at times makes it easy on opposing pitchers.

9, 11, 16, and 12 Ks in this series.  Ironically the near no-hitter had the lowest number.

It's hard to believe that they are not leading the league in strikeouts

IMO the outfield defense is going to be a problem all year unless they call up Bradfield and he stabilizes things.

I think most of our outfielders are defensively challenged.

TON -  is awful.  He defines liability in the outfield - poor offensively so far.

Ward- at best average and that is being kind- has hit well

Alexander---he is very good when his feet are in the dirt-  below average in the outfield.  I could see him becoming a good outfielder but it is going to take time. - Not much with the bat so far.

Taveras- a little above average defensively and has held his own with the bat.

Cowser- a good corner outfielder but lost at the plate

Beavers- I guess average but he breaks the wrong way with his first step often.

Below as a group, below average.

O's facing another sub-2 ERA pitcher tonight. It's not going to get any easier for this offense.
