Why when you can make so much momey betting on megative Os stuff

I really want to believe they can keep building as the season goes on and get to contender level but its hard. I dont see much of a solution to how bad we are defensively and we seem to exploitable offensively. Though I suspect the offensive numbers on the whole will be ok by seasons end.

I trust about half the lineup. And of that half, Gunst, Ward and Adley have been good it's just Alonso that's been bad.

The other half it's young guys with promise, some who've produced previously, that we need to get good production from. Of that half, everyone has been awful or worse.

Jackson came from outside either group and has had an amazing week. We'll see if he can be anything more than that but he'll get the chance given how much of a struggle the rest has been.

The game's not over but it is painful to listen to the announcers talk about how Cleveland doesn't strike out a lot and always seem to find a way to put the ball in play.

And to stay consistent, I think playing Alexander in CF is Alby's call. That said, Tavares and Cowser cant hit lefties. They are as close to auto outs as you get. So you coulda played one in CF to help the D but with the teams struggles offensively you feel forced to go for offense. The roster construction is just a mess.

Everyone and their uncle knew we needed two top of the rotation starters. Instead, Elias bet that Bradish and Rogers would do the job.

 

Early results suggest that wasn't the smartest bet.

 

I just hope Rogers can right the ship.
