This is the difference between a bad team and a decent team. When you make a mistake a decent team makes you pay for it.

We are the worst on both sides. Make the mistakes but bats don't make other teams pay for theirs.

I really want to believe they can keep building as the season goes on and get to contender level but its hard. I dont see much of a solution to how bad we are defensively and we seem to exploitable offensively. Though I suspect the offensive numbers on the whole will be ok by seasons end.

Offense will get better but they are what they are. They’ll need to hit HRs to score a majority of their runs. It’s not very sustainable especially when Half the order is AAA level slop.
