From an offensive standpoint I like our vs lefties lineup more than our current vs righties lineup. Wilson and Rodriguez at leadt have had good ABs vs lefties. Cowser is a lost cause vs anyone and Beavers is only marginally better. Plus Blaze plays against lefties and Blaze often has good ABs against lefties.

I'd like to see Wilson get a bit of a run at third.

Give him some starts against some right handers

Need to find some offensive spark somehow.

Ive never believed the FO had as much say over daily lineups as most here, but I think Mayo getting the reps he is getting is because the FO wants him sinking or swimming. I have to think Alby would prefer to play him less.

You might be right

IMO, He's sinking so badly that He's pretty much an automatic out on a poor hitting team.

Couple that with the fact that He likely would have not broken camp if Westburg was healthy, It's time to see if someone else can bring something to the table.

I dont know that you're wrong but if once you do bail on Coby the bloom is pretty much completely off the rose. In that, he likely  has to really fight and earn any PT going forward, You're not completely saying he is a failed prospect but its pretty close to that

This team can't afford to put up with his growing pains at the plate. It's not like they are in full rebuild mode. Mayo production (or lack thereof) is what is going to determine his prospect status.

I agree but unfortunately Alexander isnt exactly ligjting it up offensively either. Wilson gets the 3B job today. We will see how he looks.
