Amazing.  After seven years of tanking and two number one picks they only have two drafted guys in the top 100.

The performance of both of their number one overall picks has been really disappointing. I'm not giving up on either of them, but it's getting late early, as they say.

And yet one of those #1 picks is still in the top 100. I don't get too caught up in these rankings, but Bradish and Rogers could easily be there. A healthy Felix, too and probably Westburg. Basallo is a consensus top 10 prospect.

People trying to make it seem like the rebuild was a failure.

I don't think it's a failure, but most of the haul of prospects that tanking got them haven't really panned out how we hoped.

Gunnar, Adley (even if he's disappointed), Cowser, Holliday, Westburg, Mayo, Kjerstad (still has a chance). How many teams can say they've produced 6 or 7 starter quality prospects from 2 or 3 drafts?

Bradish is a top 100 player anyway. Westburg is when he is healthy.  Bautista was until the shoulder stuff. Still too early to say anything definitive on a guy like Holliday whos 22 yrs old. Its cherry picking. Its a snapshot as we sit here in March of 2026. THings can change quickly. Like I said, its also subjective. Bradish not being on the list is laughable.

I'm not trying to push back on your opinion, because I agree that the rebuild hasn't been a failure. But it hasn't accomplished very much either. Here's to hoping this season changes that.

How many playoff wins has the Elias tenure yielded?

Yeah, they've faltered both years in the playoffs. We're well aware. The fruit of the rebuild go us into the playoffs and I expect those players to make a big impact towards getting us back.

We have people around here acting like it was the 2000-2010 decade of rebuild.

Exactly. Its laughable. But I guess its good that the bar has raised for the Os in general.

Dang right some of us have a high bar. Getting into the playoffs and faltering like a dead duck doesnt cut it for me.

The fruit of the rebuild go us into the playoffs and ....

Why do you continue this? This has been litigated ad nauseum.  You have zero evidence.  No rebuilds have evidence for causality ("Winning later").

There's no causality between losing and winning.

Everything you need to do to win now and in the future you can do regardless of your win total in any year. Period.

We have people around here acting like it was the 2000-2010 decade of rebuild.

Not even sure what you are trying to do here.  This is the strawman of strawmans.
