A little bit of LF, but mostly RF. Has 6 outfield assists in RF, 2 in LF. Also played a good bit of 1B. The only negative I can see is that he's struggling against LHP, only a .601 OPS.

He's definitely interesting, especially if he can stick at C. I think Bob has said that his defense is less than desirable, though. His emergence could help salvage what's been a pretty rough draft at the top. Honeycutt and O'Farrell look like lost causes.

At least we got George, Layton, and Whitaker from that draft, 3 of our 4 HS picks that year. Tess was the 4th and he was very interesting last year, .447 OBP. What's his issue? I see he's been on the IL all of 2026.

Say his name and he appears!

Tess DH-ing in the FCL today.

I do. I check the minor league scores and box scores every day. Jonkensy Noel and Juan Nunez, who was taken by the Padres in the 2025 rule 5, also started rehabs in the FCL today.

Irish and Aloy stay hot. Irish with a HR and 2B tonight, OPS up to .906. Aloy with a 2 HR game and 3 hits, OPS up to .875. Reed Trimble back healthy too, with a HR. Be nice if Trimble could stay healthy and get a look in Baltimore.

Yup. 2.54 ERA at AA. Seems like they may be starting to limit his innings a bit, at 90 for the year. Only threw 91 last year in college.

RJ Austin another guy in Frederick who has gotten my attention. Good on base guy, has speed and some pop. Apparently a very high IQ player and capable in CF. Could be a sleeper prospect.

Another big day for Irish and Aloy. Irish was 3 for 5 including a double and a walk. Aloy was 3 for 6 with 5 RBI. Another rehab HR for Trimble and 3 BB. Irish and Aloy also stole a base each, that's 20 now for Irish.

Its a shame De Leon walks too many. He could probably be in our BP now if he had more control/command.

I think both are R5 eligible this offseason if Im not mistaken

Dominant first start in AA for Caden Hunter. Took a no-hitter into the 7th. 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 10 Ks. Apparently was consistently mid 90s touching 98.
