He's not good period.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Another rough start for Gibson tonight. He's gotta start showing something with that AAA ball.

4 IP, 9 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3K for Gibson. He looked solid in ST despite the velo being a little less than advertised. Still a very small AAA sample size.

Once a saw the vid slidemaster posted I was a bit concerned. The guy wanted out on him in the top 20 and noted his clear lack of RPMs and induced vertical break compared to AA. Those are tangible things he has to try and get back

Disrupts your patterns. After a full offseason of guys having video to see what made you successful the level before, they'll see what you like to throw in certain counts. After enough success like that it becomes hard to switch it up. AAA like you said they are better, and they do their homework. It's like you need to start clean, keep in mind tendencies from before, and change those up enough to keep guys on their heels and not sitting on pitches. The mental side of pitching is a chess match. Hitters have adjusted, now it's his turn.

Great first appearance for Dzierwa. 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K.

Might not be long for Frederick.

Actually looks like he went 6 and added 2 more Ks.

Yeah, if he stays healthy we might have a live one here.

That ST performance from Dzierwa was the only time Ive seen him but it was all I needed to know he has real upside.

Good start for Irish, 2 2Bs. Aloy with a 3B and a couple walks. Good to see those two get off to a good start.

Morfe didn't retire a batter tonight. Gave up a couple of hits, walked a couple more, then got removed for right elbow discomfort.

Man, there are so few position player prospects in AA and AAA. EBJ, Sosa, and Estrada are really it. And none of those guys feel like they have huge upside. Sosa in particular hasn't really produced numbers

I mean Morfe has pitched so few innings in his career. All at very low levels. Just hard to read anything into 30 or so innings a year in the lowest of levels

If it helps at all, it seems most of the former prospects didn't really have huge upside, either.
