Last weekend's game was like the meme of Spiderman pointing at Spiderman. Just how far have the Ravens fallen? Is there still time left to make 2025 matter?

I hope they amaze me and rise from the ashes, but no, I don't think they're capable. The damage has been done. Whatever they have left in the last 4 games will probably just be an exercise in futility. 2025 just wasn't meant to be. Enjoyed the article, Jamie.

This is mostly where I'm at but the fan in me just can't quite give up.
I ran the playoff scenario generator last night and even if both us and Pittsburgh go 2-1 over the next 3, and provided 1 of the wins is over Cincy this week, a win at the stadium formerly known as Heinz Field in Week 18 would get us the AFC north title. As absurd as it sounds, I'll cling to that hope. As critical and as frustrated as I've been with everything, I'll still root like hell for the opportunity.
With all of that said, I certainly hope that, for as far away as things feel from where they were for 3 quarters on that warm September evening in Buffalo, that the organization can find its way back to more solid footing in 2026. And it all starts with the line of scrimmage on both sides. EDC has to return his focus to the trenches and build this thing from the inside out, instead of focusing on the secondary.

I thought climbing out of the cellar and into 1st place would spark something in them.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

So Cincinnati will still be alive when they play the Ravens and I would expect to get their best. Every game for them is an elimination game at this point.
You can say that about the Ravens and look what we did last week, and the week before.

Cincy won’t be in shutdown mode. Their chance is slim, but they still have a slight path to the division. But Sunday is an elimination game for them. If they lose Sunday they will be mathematically eliminated.
If they win out they need Baltimore and Pittsburgh to be at 8-9 or less. They would need the Ravens to lose at least 1 of their last 3 to NE, GB, or Pit. Certainly possible if not probable. They would need Pit to lose 3 out of 4 to Miami, Detroit, Cleveland, and Baltimore. That might be the harder ask but still possible.

After listening to Burrow it sounds like they're close to shutting it down. The Ravens need to start fast in what is gonna be brutally cold and see if Cincy's heart is still in it.

That's where I'm at. There's still a chance to salvage a bad season not because we're a great team but because the competition isn't any better than us. Just go to Cincy and get revenge on a team that's done for the season and probably in shutdown mode. Then sit back and see if the Dolphins can stay hot and beat a mediocre Steelers team. Then you get the best team in the AFC in your house in prime time in what is your current Super Bowl game.
Salvage your season with those 2 games and then the trip to Pittsburgh is probably gonna be for the division title. As bad as it's been I don't think that's an impossible ask from this team.

The Raves need to worry about their own heart. I haven't seen much of a pulse over the past 2 games.
The 1st quarter yesterday did not look good but once the Bengals blew that assignment and the Tavius Robinson sack knocked the Bengals out of FG range, a switch seemed to flip. There was the trading of deflected INTs but pretty much from the Robinson sack forward, the Ravens got physical and the Bengals wanted none of it. Whether it was a coincidence or not, the Ed Reed visit certainly seemed to resonate with the defense.
Granted, it was still the Bengals, who aren't a good football team, but that was the first good QB that the defense has shut down this year. And offensively, in just 40 snaps, we saw some flashes of a formula that can certainly play in January.
Still a lot of regular season work left to do but yesterday's effort was at least something to foster some hope of possibilities.
