I do feel more confident than the Bengals game but thats not really saying much. I expect ugliness

Zero excuse to lose this game. But also agree that it'll probably be too close to get comfortable.

Perhaps, but the Steelers don't have Joe Burrow.Replace "Steelers" with "Bengals" and the narrative was the same going into Thanksgiving.
He's a difference maker
Aaron Rodgers hasn't been one for years.

If the offense plays even half as badly as they just played, they will not win this game, and that was against the worst defense in the league.Perhaps, but the Steelers don't have Joe Burrow.

Can't even wrap my brain around that possibility. But it's really been sobering looking at this Lamar-led offense the past 3 weeks. You can rationalize it somewhat when they win but that travesty on Thanksgiving night was hard to swallow.

I really can't figure this all out. Thanksgiving night was overall disaster but it's not like we didn't move the ball at all. And of course, the self inflicted errors from the fumbles to the stupid penalties, are correctable. What is more troublesome is the O Line struggles, Lamar's throwing slump and Monken's creative brick wall in the red zone.

Glad to miss a Steelers week...damn, what's the point man?I’m glad I am going to miss this game and won’t be able to watch it since I’ll be flying back from Europe. It’ll be ugly and I don’t have a lot of faith we win.

I think Sean is in Europe teaching the locals the power of positive thinking. ![]()

Still haven’t gotten over the 2023 loss to a Kenny Pickett Pittsburgh team and that was the same day the O’s lost a playoff game.
I don’t hate the Steelers as much as I used to but I can’t handle losing to those bums. I’d watch if I was home no question but I am actually kind of relieved to have an excuse not to.

It would somehow seem fitting if this game were to end in a tie.

When you’ve been having as good a time as I have over here doing the Christmas markets Steelers week is kaput.
We had a chance to go to the Christmas markets through my wife's job but I couldn't get off of work. Definitely disappointed.

I was sitting in the upper deck at The Yard watching that debacle unfold. I can't believe we found a way to lose that game. Then, there was the O's game. LOL. At least there was the Aaron Hicks single....that was fun!!

If I have to sit in the cold for 4 hours in an OT game that winds up in a tie, I will not be happy.

"I just give him a lot of credit - he's battling each week trying to get healthy enough to be able to play every Sunday," Monken said. "I mean, that's what I see out of him. I see a guy that's battling little nagging injuries, things that are stopping him from being able to get out there every day and practice."
