Ward has had 27 PA with the Mariners and hasnt walked once. Just found that interesting.

He's also only 4 for 27....

I wonder if the day will come, when the Mariners go balls to the wall, in an effort to join the WS club.

If you’re going to build a winning team, then at some point you have to get out of development mode and move into contending mode. - Dayton Moore

Guy lead the AL with 13 doubles at the end of April. He has 20 now. This was a guy with 69 XBH last year and has 28 this year in over 600 PA. Just an insane drop in slug. From .475 down to .313. No one could ever see a drop off that severe from a guy that appears to be healthy. I genuinely think he took all the walks because he knew he couldnt hit anymore.

Driveline baby!

I kid, mostly. Just so weird how the O's hitters experienced this much regression.

I know youre joking but you go way into the weeds with narrative shit. Again, WAS has one of the best offenses in baseball and numerous playees made a big jump after they hired former Driveline guys

It is really strange.  He was hitting early just not the long ball. He dropped off the cliff.  I don't think we got much for him, but we did save some cash.
