Position of weakness is almost meaningless. FAs are negotiating based on offers from other teams, it doesn’t matter if the Os have injuries or not.
I say almost because it could matter that a closer may not want to come to a place with an already established closer like Felix, if there’s a good chance Felix comes back during the contract. But it still doesn’t matter to the money, just whether he wants to be here at all.
