After suffering their fourth consecutive loss against Indiana in College Park over the weekend, Maryland will travel up to Piscataway for a matchup against Rutgers on Saturday afternoon. The Scarlet Knights currently hold a record of 4-5 (1-5), and have lost five of their last six games including their most recent one against Illinois in Champaign. Their lone conference victory came against Purdue in West Lafayette two weeks ago.
Maryland is 12-8 all-time against Rutgers, but lost their matchup last season by a score of 31-17. They haven't lost a game in Piscataway since 2017.
