Following two straight home losses, Maryland will embark on a cross-country road trip to face off against UCLA in Pasadena on Saturday. This will be a matchup of two teams headed in completely different directions this season; while the Terps have begun their annual October slide, the Bruins are coming off of two straight victories following an 0-4 start to their 2025 campaign. After a massive home upset of Penn State, they travelled to East Lansing and beat Michigan State rather handily last weekend.
Maryland is 1-1 all-time against UCLA, with their last meeting coming all the way back in 1955. This will be their first trip to the Rose Bowl, as their 1954 matchup in Los Angeles took place at the Memorial Coliseum.
Maryland opens as 1.5-point favorites in this game, and ESPN gives them a 50.2% chance to win.
I’ll be traveling out to Southern California for this one, at least the weather will be nice!
