Here's at least one mock where Bain is available at 14.
Don't waste a 1st round pick on a wideout (I've seen a few mocks suggesting that tonight). Get the EDGE you need or go IOL or DT. The Bucs have done a great job picking 2nd and 3rd RD to supplement Evans (though Egbuka was a first round pick).
Lamar makes wideouts better. The trick is to collapse the opposition's QB pocket.
That guy’s on crack if he thinks Bain will be there at 14. The short-arm thing is overplayed.
Of course I said similar about Hamilton coming out and look what happened.

Former Terp Jaishawn Barham should be a target if he's available in Rd. 2.

I know we don’t like to do it, but if a big time stud is still there at like 10 you are also allowed to trade up. Depends on the board I suppose.

Yeah Suggs and Hamilton both ran slow at the combine. Have to hope for something like that.

Well, they own like 25% of the 5th round. lol Ammo to move up should be there. I don't expect it.
I'd be happy with Woods or Ioane at 14.

Kiper's a tool.
Go get an EDGE guy (Bain out of Miami should be there at 14) or bulk up the IOL.
Mel has a big ego, but is not a tool. He will do 15 of these mock drafts. His pick for the Ravens will change.

5th round picks are not going to move you far.

Zero chance Bain is available when we pick unless he absolutely bombs the combine. I'm here for it, though. Didn't something similar happen with Suggs?
And Hamilton, but likely he is gone in the top 10.

Not in the early first. That was said more tongue in cheek, making fun of EDC's penchant for hoarding picks.

14) Ravens
The Ravens shore up the interior offensive line with a big, physical ass kicker in Ioane. The former Penn State standout is a reliable brick wall who should help provide Lamar Jackson with some more stable pockets.

Don't know anything about him but I like the fact that he's a mauler and solid pass protector. Any guard in the first round has to be an improvement over what we were subjected to in 2025.

Some people claim he’s the best lineman in the draft, I’ll take it. Best lineman available for me (includes edge).

I would love that pick.
Hopefully this is also where it gets over-mocked, and some idiot GM takes him top 5, and pushes someone like Rueben Bain down to 14, after Bain runs a 4.7, and bad front offices like New York think that means more than anything he did on the field in college.

Ideally after early FA they are in a spot where they can draft any position. When you start drafting for need you are in trouble.
Well, they aren't particularly deep at most positions. So any first round pick should be an instant upgrade.

Its one thing to have a need, its another to have a hole at a position and feel obligated to spend a 1st or a 2nd round pick on plugging the hole
This front office has never done that. I don't expect them to start now. Ozzie is still in the building. And EDC is still one of the better GM's in football.
They'll take whomever they feel is the best player at their pick. My gut says Vega Ioane makes too much sense, and is the most realistic player to still be there at 14. And he has a Quienton Nelson type of feel to him. I hate taking an IOL in the top 15, but if you're getting a guy like Nelson, it's kind of worth it.
