If there is a silver lining it is that this proposed private capital deal between the Big Ten and the UC pension system might really happen, which would drop Locksley buyout money right into UM’s lap.

Yeah, by my estimations his buyout for being fired after this season is somewhere around $17 million so they’ll need all the help they can get funding that money.

I heard estimates at about $111 million per school.

Maryland’s tackling has been pretty pathetic all day.

Just to follow up on this: according to Harrison Rich (247Sports), Maryland posted a 27.0 tackle grade in this game per Pro Football Focus. That's the second-worst single game grade in the entire conference since they started tracking those numbers in 2014. Maryland missed 24 tackles.

 

Pathetic.

If Indiana can find a unicorn coach and turn into a national powerhouse then so can Maryland. Come on, Jim Smith, do the right thing.
