The strike 3 call was weirdly late - not sure what was going on there, although it probably was a strike.

That was a great at bat.  If you want to blame anyone, it was the ump.

Strike one was a ball, and strike 3 was a ball.

Cowser, Mayo and Alex Jackson hit about 1250 feet of homeruns, one right after each other.  I think it may have been three swings in a row.

Horrible series for the Padres.

 

 

As far as the Os they always seem to do enough at times to remind you the overall talent is there and good enough. Is why they are still so frustrating.

Very enjoyable series. And on top of it we got the privilege of seeing a total meltdown from the Yankees. They give up 4 in the 8th to Houston, including a bases loaded walk and their final run, a balk RBI. They have a 4 run lead going to the 9th and the Yankees get 3 back but lose by a run. The balk. It's the small things in life sometimes that help you get by. That was just lovely to watch.
