Little tidbit from the Angelos era in Tom Davis's in booth interview yesterdee. He mentioned how he got lucky to be working the night of the 2014 ALE clinching game. He explained Gary Thorne was off that night, but tried to get back on the call given they were likely to clinch, and the Orioles denied his request. Why wouldn't you want your best guy on a game like that? Just speaks to the old school/high compliance esque culture that's plagued this organization.

Saw a shot of the dugout after the beat down yesterday. Gunnar and Mountcastle were walking towards the tunnel laughing and joking. Then they showed Westburg looking legitimately angry. We need more guys like Westburg.
