Hard to predict what those teams will look like this season, but four of them finished in KenPom's final Top 100 last year (and the TBA Players Era opponent will likely make that five). So at the very least, it's a step up from the cupcake schedules that Turgeon and Willard seemed to prefer.

I'd also imagine UVA (106 last year) should be top-100 when they have a real coach and not an interim because their title-winning coach retired

247Sports reporting that Maryland's game against Marquette on November 15th will officially tip-off at 2:00 PM ET and be broadcast on Peacock.

We start on Oct 27 on an exhibition game against UMBC. Have we had these kinds of exhos before? How is it different from any other OOC game, it just doesn't count for the overall record?

I can’t recall a season in which they *didn’t* have an exhibition game before non-conference play starts, whether or not they’ve been televised/streamed is a different story. They also typically play at least one closed-door scrimmage against a semi-local team (believe they scrimmaged Villanova last year).We start on Oct 27 on an exhibition game against UMBC. Have we had these kinds of exhos before? How is it different from any other OOC game, it just doesn't count for the overall record?
