Glad to see. The radio crew made it sound like his arm was dislocated.

He looked like an idiot. Imagine putting on blinders, and running as fast as you can, into a padded wall. That was him.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

Cowser is goofy. Yesterday was another example of that

On pace for 97 losses.

Back to the dregs of the AL.

That little run we had meant nothing
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

It was frustrating to watch last night, because I really did not think Skubal had his best stuff.  The velocity on the heater was a tick or two off for most of the night.  We were sitting up close and I was watching Skubal come off the mound and it seemed like he at times was limping.  The Orioles plan was obviously to be aggressive early in the count and that clearly did not work, but it did cut down the strikeouts.  (who cares)  Skubal definitely took it up a notch in the 7th.

As for the Orioles, they can't hit, which still shocks me, so once we fell behind it was over.  Kremer on the other hand had good stuff.  He saved the BP which hopefully pays off against the Angels, but he seemed to lose focus in the 4th.  When Cowser crashed into the wall, and they had to go out, Kremer spent most of the time string out there.  As  Manso and the trainer came back, he threw a few pitches but I don't think he was locked in.  The ball to Meadows was high, but Meadows crushed it and game over.  Kremer was terrific the last 4 innings.

Skubal is interesting to watch.  He has it all.

There were a lot of Tiger fans there last night.  They were vocal but not obnoxious like Yankee or Red Sox fans.  After talking to a few, they are excited.  They think they have a chance to go a long way.  I don't think they are wrong.  Greenburg and Hinch have done a great job with their team.

My buddy, who grew up north of Detroit was there Tuesday night. He also routs for the Orioles and Ravens. Lived in MD a long time.

The Tigers have had a lot of growing pains and have had go back to the drawing board several times but they finally look like a team on the rise. Mainly because they have great pitching.

If the Oriole rebuild fails, and I still do not believe it will, it will because the Stat Pack failed to make pitching its top priority.  It took the Tigers awhile but you're right, they have a top notch pitching staff.  It also helps that they have a horse like Skubal.  IMO, a guy like that elevates an entire staff.  It has been far too many years since the Orioles developed a pitcher like that.

To be fair, I thought last years projected staff of Burnes, Bradish, Means, GRod, Kremer and Wells could have matched up with any rotation in baseball, but the baseball Gods crapped all over that.

Grow the bats, buy rent the arms (on a 1 season at a time basis).

Good news! I saw a dog today.

The one year at a time stuff is eventually going to have to be changed.

That will probably require a replacement GM.

Burnes was close but I think everyone knew he was a one-year rental.
