If they don't they won't.

Looks like Akin is opening the game.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

The 2018-21 Orioles went 4-2 against that year's Cy Young winner, you never know what's going to happen.

If they win this game they make the playoffs.
If they don't they won't.
LMFAO. Someone doesn't understand baseball. Come on man.

I'm clearly being tongue-in-cheek.

That just isn't clear at all but OK - since you pointed it out, I retract. My bad.

Interesting. Now if we can get Detroit to agree to pull Skubal when we pull Akin, we will have something.
We are going back out tonight, and are behind the plate, and I have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing Skubal from up close.

Is Kremer not going or do our starters now need openers?

I think Kremer is following Akin. I am guessing they want Akin to go 2 innings, and Maybe have Kremer take 2 tours through the lineup instead of 3.

Why would anyone think a single game's outcome would determine a playoff berth?

The answer here is fairly obvious but I'm going to walk away rather than escalate further. Like I said, my bad. Sorry I misunderstood it.

Oh come on. I go off the deep end sometimes but don't take things to that level of insanity.

I do think though that this game can negate that A's series loss in what we were hoping was an O's turnaround. There was a different energy in the 8th inning last night. Let's see if there's any carry over.
