Where's this rank in his Orioles career performances?

Arrieta tonight: 8.0 IP, 0 ER, 9 K, 0 BB, 5 H.
Where's this rank in his Orioles career performances?
I feel like his best performances come @ Yankee Stadium...something tells me they will go after him hard when he gets to FA. Kinda like we should have the first time Pettite hit FA (if you can't beat em, buy em).

70% strike%...16% swinging str%....pitch efficient. NO WALKS!
Great game tonight.
I think that 5+ K/BB ratio is always a good recipe for a win.

The Orioles clearly value his arm so I'm not sure they will allow him to hit the market. I'm not sure how long we have to worry about that though.Arrieta tonight: 8.0 IP, 0 ER, 9 K, 0 BB, 5 H.

3 more years after this one I'm pretty sure.

Four more, actually.
He was at a year and 116 days heading into this season. So he'll be at 2.116 and in all likelihood not even eligible for Super-2 status. Then three arbitration years and he'll be eligible for free agency after the 2016 season.

At which point he will be old enough that the O's can let someone else pay for his declining years.
Well I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player.

Arrieta's troubles in the 2nd, began with the walk to Gimenez. With 1 run in, and runners on the corner, he left a ball over the heart of the plate which Zobrist blasted to deep CF for a 2 run double.
The Rays 4th inning started with the bunt from Johnson, and the swinging bunt from Zobrist. Following the k from Upton, the Rays had a double steal. Joyce would single scoring 1. Joyce would reach 2nd on a wild pitch. Arrieta would then get Scott for the 2nd out. With 2 outs, Pena doubled into two more runs, knocking Arrieta from the game. Arrieta had been up 0-2 on Pena. Pena worked the count full, and drilled the 3-2 fastball.
Bad job from Arrieta limiting the damage. Disappointing outing overall, considering he did have good stuff. There is a lot about Arrieta that I really like, but the inconsistency from start to start, and even inning to inning hurts. What really frustrated me about yesterday, is that I thought his stuff looked good, and he was still getting hit around a bit.
He was excellent in NY, and has had two poor outings since. He needs to put together a run of consistently positive outings, beginning the next time out at Washington Friday.

Pretty weak TB lineup as well. Definitely disappointing to see him get so roughed up.Yesterday, Arrieta issued a lead-off walk to Zobrist to start the game. He would follow that by striking out Upton. That ab featured a great slider for strike 2, and a 95 mph fastball on the black for the k. He would strike out the side in the 1st.

Better than the night before that Matusz faced, but yeah; not a powerhouse. Especially without Longoria. Though, I was surprised to see that before the series Tampa was 9th in runs, 8th in OBP, and 7th in Slugging.

Tomorrow, he pitches the rubber game against Boston, and try and improve Baltimore's 10-3-1 record in all series played.

He is 2-5, with a 4.87 era (4.01 FIP). In 61 ip, he has allowed 62 hits, 9 hr’s, 16 bb’s, with 53 k’s. His OPS against is .729, and his G/F is 0.90.
This will be Arrieta’s 6th start of May. His previous 5 have been:
5/2 @ NYY: 8 ip, 5 hits, 0 er, 0 bb’s, 9 k’s
5/8 vs. TEX: 6.1 ip, 9 hits, 6 er, 3 hr’s, 1 bb, 3 k’s
5/13 vs. TB: 3.2 ip, 10 hits, 7 er, 2 bb’s, 6 k’s
5/18 @ DC: 7 ip, 6 hits, 1 er, 1 hr, 1 bb, 9 k’s
5/23 vs. BOS: 5.2 ip, 8 hits, 4 er, 1 hr, 3 bb’s, 2 k’s
The starts vs. the Yankees, and Nationals were awesome. His most recent start vs. Boston was livable. His starts vs. the Rangers and Rays were poor. We continue to talk about wanting to see positive consistency from him. To me, when you see how high his ceiling is in those starts vs. NY and DC; you feel like he should be capable of a quality start nearly every time out. However, does anyone have concrete opinions on the results we will see from Arrieta Tuesday? This will be his first start vs. Toronto this year.
