And of course Dzierwa gets touched up a bit last night. Wasnt a horrible outing but meh at best. There just isnt anything to really get excited about in the minors. Some one ot two offs but this system feels much like the old Os systems under Angelos
A lot of solid, but nothing great.

I feel like you really gotta go looking for it anymore. Nothing is apparent. How many guys do you really want to watch and track in the org. Not many. Im sure some guys will pop this year but all the guys whove seemed to pop a bit in recent years havent really sustained it. And dont get me wrong, its still early. A guy like George still has a chance to build and sustain on his 2025. Im just saying it hasnt really happened the last few years.A lot of solid, but nothing great.
The org lost games at an alarming rate throughout the minors last year. Maybe 2024 too. Would have to go back and look. None of the affiliates are off to good starts this year either. Again, you can talk about certain players, individual players, but if an org has solid talent throughout and good orginizatuonal depth you arent gonna lose at the rate we've lost the last few years.

Esteban Mejia tonight shows why his ceiling is an ace. Touching 101 into his fourth and final inning, just overpowering everyone.

Dzierwa 3.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 K. I assume he was lifted for pitch count.

How's his CF defense, Bob?

Irish also went deep for Frederick. Trimble, Aloy, and Irish went back to back to back. Kinda interested to see what Trimble could do at the big level if he could stay healthy.
How's his CF defense, Bob?
Better than Beavers for sure lol. I think he could hold his own out there but could be above average in the corners. Fabian and EBJ are fantastic CFs fwiw.

Aloy with a third HR today lol
To LF? Bet it was middle-in.
He's really struggling with those outside offspeed pitches a bit.

Hey, well at least he's hitting the breaking stuff somewhere.
Was checking in on him yesterday when the talking about shifting Gunnar to 3B was flowing. I was thinking maybe when he was ready to come up, cause offensively they are really similar. Just struck me as funny that they are both struggling with the same thing right now. Everyone goes through it though, as you start running into guys that can place that ball out there, and have really good secondaries, it becomes an adventure.
