Willard is currently being grilled on his job status in the post-game press conference.

Also said he has "no idea" if Villanova offered him a contract or not, which is extremely hard to believe. When asked if he has any regrets as to how he handled everything over the last couple weeks, he said that he didn't.

He quit on the team - if it's true that he skipped the team dinner, had his agent negotiating with Villanova before the job even came open, etc. He can pound sand.

Team certainly knows better than we do and they didn't seem like they thought he'd quit after the CSU game.

Taylor Lyons (Baltimore Sun) reporting that Maryland administrators expect Willard to leave and accept the head coaching job at Villanova.

Jeff Ermann says he’s been gone for days, if not a week. Wouldn’t be surprised by an announcement from Villanova as early as tomorrow.

These responses are a lot different from his post game after Seton hall. It was blatantly obvious he was gone after their last tournament game. These responses at least leave some wiggle room.

He's a coward. I don't know what my agent is doing or who he's talking to. I'm totally clueless as to what my agent is doing with my future endeavors. STFU and own it. Everyone knows why you want out, no one is judging you for feeling the way you do about the university and the athletic department.

Be a man, own it, and move on.

Don't use the same BS excuse you used when you rolled out on your last team.
