i guess I don't get the "shared closer" role for Bautista. I understand not having him go back to back nights and if that's what they mean by shared then fine. But for me Felix is the closer. Nothing shared about it.

I think that's all they mean. They aren't gonna be pitching him in the 7th and use Cano in the 9th. They'll use Cano or whoever is pitching well to save games on the days they don't wanna use Bautista.
