I just don't get any sense of urgency from Elias. OK, so it's a wide open window. But it's also a team that is still looking for their first playoff win. When it didn't happen in '23, I was like most fans, it was easy to dismiss it as nerves or whatever. So then comes '24 and the same playoff results. I hope O'Neill is that booster shot to the team's arm, that everyone is expecting him to be.

Window's not as wide open as people think. 2-3 seasons until tough decisions need to be made on Adley and Henderson. And then there's the rest of the division which is the toughest in baseball. Red Sox will be better this year and the Rays are always full of surprises. And of course the Yankees are trying to buy a ring every year.
