9-2 and they probably make the dance.

*Except the AFCCG* I hated how they kept saying Flowers never fumbled in his life before. We all remember him trying to go over the goal line in the AFC championship game!
That's true. How could anyone forget that one. On top of that they gave the second fumble to Rush.

I just want to see them play a good game against the Bears and score more points than Chicago.
One game at a time.
Lamar, Roquan, Ricard, Stanley, Awuzie, Jones and Issac should all be back shortly and that certainly helps but there are still issues on both lines. I expect the Ravens rally after the bye, but there is a big hole to crawl out of. Let's stop the bleeding against the Bears and just try to make the rest of the season fun to watch.

Odds of getting to 9-8 haven't changed so that's the hard part. But the bar is very low given how bad the division is so it's still out there to be had.
Can't screw up against Chicago or Miami. Gotta get Lamar back and win some games or it's all moot.

The Bears and Dolphins are must wins. I don't think a turnaround can be taken seriously if they lose either of those games. The door was cracked open last night so let's see if we can take advantage of it.

The Bengals arent really in the picture. Flacco cant be consistent enough. Especially with that defense.

Our division is terribly flawed. He doesn't have to be consistent to still be a factor in making the Bengals dangerous. Flacco can still chuck it up well enough to make that offense a nightmare against anyone. I agree though that he's gonna have to with that Bengals defense.

Joe continues to be a thorn in the Steelers side. I wish he wasn't playing for him.

Joe has to have a consistently clean pocket to do what he did last night. He does have great receivers to throw to, so that helps but he's still a turnover machine and that's what will ultimately keep the Bengals out of the playoffs. The best highlight from last night was Rodgers own lineman tackling him during a TD celebration and him getting up in a rage. Hilarious. Any Steelers loss makes for a good day.

Flacco will have huge stinkers. The Bengals still have no chance of having a winning year.

It's true that Flacco hasn't been superstar material the last several years, but he did get Cleveland to the playoffs a couple of years ago. No small feat considering how bad Cleveland has been. And he is playing with the best set of receivers he has ever had in his career. They probably can't stack enough wins to win the division, but their schedule isn't super tough the rest of the way. And they could easily play the spoiler with the Ravens in at least one of their two division games. Not hard to see Jamar Chase running wild in Zach Orr's pathetic schemes. He did it twice last year.

There's a reason Joe has been on 4 teams in 3 years including Cleveland twice.

I agree with part of that. No disrespect to Flacco, but the Steelers D was lacking to say the least. I've seen nothing from Flacco the last 5 years that says to me he's going to consistently throw for over 300 yards, 3 TDs, and no picks consistently like he just did. However I do think he has the potential to keep them in it given their schedule remaining. Thay have the Ravens twice. Bills, Steelers round 2 in Pitt. Other than those games, Jets, Bears, Patriots, Dolphins, Cardinals, and Browns. At three wins right now, beating those teams they have a chance against puts them at 9 wins. Nothing is a given, so it's quite realistic they may lose one of those games they're supposed to win and maybe steal one from the teams they're not supposed to win. They've already shown they can beat the Steelers. Granted that's all speculation. But I don't think it's accurate to say they're not in the picture. Particularly when we're sitting at 1 win.

Cincinnati's defense is too porous to be taken as a serious playoff contender. Plus, Joe would have to clean up his game considerably going forward. If he's got decent protection and isn't throwing interceptions, he can still hurt you. Plus, the Bengals have got some great receivers to throw to. On a side note, I hope Monken was taking some notes from Cincinnati's OC after the game. He called a great game, got the ball out of Joe's hand quickly and just sliced and diced Pittsburgh's underneath coverage with slants and other quick hitters. It would be nice to see Flowers and Bateman be a part of a similar game plan. Get it out quick and let them use their YAC abilities. Forget the long developing routes. With the Ravens pathetic pass protection, it's just going to get someone killed eventually, including Lamar.

Gonna be real disappointing and kinda low key mad at Lamar if he doesn't give it a go this week. Season is in the balance and he hasn't proven to be a very tough player, unfortunately.

Lamar still not practicing. Aside from Lamar, Tavius Robinson (expected with a broken foot) was the only other player not practicing.

I think we see him practice on Wednesday, but I will be aggravated if he sits another week.
They beat the Bears with Lamar playing, probably not without him.
