There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

This team stinks. I’m done until Willard and Evans are gone. I’ll watch real basketball in the SEC. Makes me nostalgic for the ACC growing up. Reminds me so much of the good ole days.
Im so sorry man. I know how much you believed in them. It really is all Willard.

Maryland athletics are dead. Thanks, Damon Evans.

I think you can lay most of the blame at the very top. The pretentious leaders (Loh/Pines) of the university who take all the money and run, and has zero desire to honor Maryland’s athletic achievements and legacy. They're too talented to be barely hanging on against Nebraska at home.

Correct. If Evans was fired tomorrow, he’d just be replaced by someone similarly complacent.I think you can lay most of the blame at the very top. The pretentious leaders (along/Pines) of the university who take all the money and runs, and has zero desire to honor Maryland’s athletic achievements and legacy.

Bench was outscored 34-8.
MD lost on the boards 36-32.
MD was 10 of 25 from 3, Nebraska 6 of 16.
MD 7 of 12 at the line, Nebraska 6 of 11. Way too few FTs for MD.
Queen had 3 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, and 3 turnovers. He looked lethargic, and was being picked on defensively.
Reese had 8 points, 10 boards, 4 blocks, 2 steals. Missed a couple of chippies, but defensive energy was good.
Gillespie had a big game, RIce came on late. Miguel is always moving well, even when the shots aren't falling.
Geronimo was huge with his 7 boards.
I like Gapare's ability a lot, but he has to rebound at a higher clip in his minutes.
Not an inspiring game.
MD moves to 14-5, 4-4.

Queen could be hitting the wall right now, need him to get over that!
Yeah at this point I'd hope he takes the Jalen Smith path of knowing he could be drafted this year but would benefit a lot more from a second year of college development

Agree another year in college could be beneficial in preparing him for professional success. Not sure how much that would help his draft prospects though, as he is already a year older than most freshmen.
