At this point, I'd have to say KC and the Eagles.  Until proven otherwise, I do think they're the teams to beat to get to the Super Bowl.

Lions look like by far the best team to me, but KC has the experience and Mahomes is really hard to beat in the postseason (or any other time).  Philly has everything but a top-end QB.

I like the Ravens chances.  Not as much as '19 or '23, but better than '18 or '20.  Stay healthy over the final weeks and hope Tucker doesn't botch things in the playoffs.  Seed won't change my confidence all that much, though I do want to win the division.

Ravens are still by far the 2nd best team by DVOA. Trailing the Lions 5.2% but ahead of the 3rd place team by nearly 12%. Considering how they are positioned right now I dont think they are the 2nd favorite to win it all and Vegas agrees. Also not overly worried about where we have to play in the playoffs. Having the Wildcard round at home would be great but after that you're likely going to Buffalo or KC. Gotta get through at least 1 of those teams and likely both.

Jalen Hurts is everything everyone thought Lamar Jackson was going to be.

Hurts is a liability if you get in a shoot out, but the Eagles defense and Sequan Barkley are what generally prevents that.  They have the formula that it looked like the Ravens would have when they acquired Henry.  Henry's done his part but the defense is not top notch, especially in the passing game.  I still like the Lions in the NFC though if they get home field.  If Philly gets home field then it's a toss up.

AFC I'm still going KC until somebody knocks them off.  They got Pacheco back, they also have Hunt to work into the running game.  They got Hopkins and look like they will be getting Hollywood back for the playoffs.  I fully expect they will look more like KC once the playoffs start.  I give Buffalo a chance to knock them off, but their defense is prone to lapses like against the Ravens and Rams on the road.  If they somehow get the home field, maybe I give them a more legitimate shot at knocking them out.  Ravens always have a chance, but quite honestly if they have to do the WC road route I don't think they play consistently enough to run the table on the road.  They also have not turned in their best efforts in the playoffs.  If they end up going to KC, I think KC knows how to beat them.

Yup. Lamar and Hurts have the same number of playoff wins, only difference is both of Hurts came in the same season.

Hurts also hasn't had to run through the buzz saw of Mahomes or Josh Allen.

Hurts and crew got smoked by Baker Mayfield last year.

I personally hope the Lions finally get to the Super Bowl but I still feel the Eagles are the NFC team to beat.  They have all the ingredients for a late season charge- a solid defense, a great running game and competent enough passing attack.  As long as Hurts doesn't turn the ball over and Barkely can stay healthy, I just think Philly is the most balanced team.  I think Hurts and the Eagles have a better chance of getting to promised land than Lamar and the Ravens do.

I think the Ravens fell outside of this conversation after the Steelers and Eagles losses. Even though Tucker was a big part of it he's still a part of the team. They have 4 games to get back in the conversationn

I think they're still in the conversation but until they prove otherwise, there's a handful of teams better than them.

The same number as Lamar, but he's actually been to one and very nearly won it.

They were not buzz saws. The Ravens beat themselves each time.

I'm not feeling very confident unless Tucker figures it out. We aren't winning against good teams consistently enough to win it all or even come close with him kicking like this.

Maybe he needed the week off to reset himself.  We'll find out soon enough this Sunday.

In the regular season? No. But I also think pretending like Hurts is trash is flatly incorrect.

And I'll take Hurts in the playoffs until Lamar shows he can win.

Hurts is slightly above average. And he's won as much as Lamar in the playoffs. He made one run, and he was one and done, getting absolutely smoked by Tampa last season.

It's not even close. Lamar is truly elite, and in the same tier as Mahomes, Allen and Burrow. Trailing only Mahomes IMO. And that gap is closing at a very quick rate.

Using team accomplishment to compare individuals is a very weak argument in any case. Lamar is better than Hurts in every way imaginable. It's not even close. Eagles have a better record this season because of their defense and running game. They've won games despite Hurts playing horrible.
