Losing Reese was a big part of that I think.

 

For sure. Him and Queen have learned to blend really well on the floor together, something I had some concern over. But picking up cheap fouls has always been who Reese is, and I'm afraid that will never change and they have to find a way to be effective when he's on the bench. I hope Gapare can improve to the point where he can fill Reese's void when he's out for those longer stretches.

Kauffman-Renn really took over in those final few minutes after Reese fouled out. Not saying it would've made a difference, but it was noticeable.

It sucks that Kauffman-Renn didn't get into any further foul trouble after those first couple of minutes.

All that said re: Reese fouling out, there were still too many self-inflicted wounds late in that game, including back-to-back turnovers and a couple missed layups.
