IMO this game is a splash of cold water for Oregon. They're not a runaway #1 by any stretch of the imagination.

There is no runaway #1 team this year, at least up to this point. That's makes it more fun. Probably 5 or 6 teams that could win it all this season if they get hot at the right time. Many thought NIL and the transfer portal would only separate the elite teams even further from the pack, but it looks like the opposite might be true. Too bad MD doesn't have enough big money people who want to try and buy a title.
