Doesn't matter where the ball is when we can't even put the ball in play, too many strike outs.

O's were 18th in MLB with a 22.0 K%. Maybe that's still too many, but it's pretty typical for MLB these days (slightly better than league average).

Have it be easily adjustable, move it in when we hit, move it back out when we pitch. Problem solved.

I have a feeling that with the upcoming renovations they might move it in some and fill in with some kind of premium seating option. Not based on anything I've read, just a hunch.

This thread is awesome given the other 80+ page thread.

Where's the arguments from then?

I don't really like it, I think it's poorly conceived and like I said before, if you gave a middle school class an assignment to create design options this would probably be the worst one.

...regardless, both teams play on the same field, so whatever.

this

it obviously hurts us somewhat offensively but it also helps our pitchers.

Sure but the problem nobody wants to address is a starting OF of all LH hitters with a metric driven approach that just overdoes the whole lefty right matchup stuff. It makes zero sense to me. If you wanna have an all LH hitting OF fine but you better get over the fixation on the pitching matchups.

They were a top HR-hitting team w/the fence moved back. Leave the walls where they are.
