Anderson & Ripken (and many others)lifted during the season. I remember reading how Ripken would lift after games. They likely were working on strength training in season. No one has any idea of TON's training regimen, and no one has any idea whether or not it has contributed to his injuries this year. That said, it also fair to believe that it has contributed given all of the issues that Orioles players have had in rehab this season.I'm gonna laugh at this, on the basis that it's funny. But, it's also pretty well established that his type of gym rat muscularity leads to flexibility limitations. Anderson was cut, and well defined (my sister had his famous poster on her wall). But he was lean, and also worked on things beyond pumping iron.

He's separate from the O's general health problems, he's been a p/t player his whole career, because he can't stay on the field. He could be playing for the Reds this year, and he'd still be missing games.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

You may be right, but the fact remains that he's on the Orioles this season.

The BP is short right now. I wonder if we see Povich optioned for a reliever and then see Rogers take his place on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Sounds like a good plan.

It also allows Tomo to stay on 6 days. I am concerned the heat and humidity got to him the last 2 starts.

I would love that. Not clear who we'd send down. Maybe Blewett - I believe he has options

Blewett does not have options
That's why he was DFAED three times this year.
Povich would go down in Mike's scenario.

Sugano may be about to hit a summer wall unfortunately.

I got pretty close. Povich to the IL, and Selby up. I suspect Rogers is booked on a flight to Florida to start tomorrow or Wednesday.

Left hip inflammation.
I think the more appropriate term is "left hip inflammation wink wink".

Well timed post
BP is really cooking right now. Wonder where our pen would rank in ERA if we didnt have the ugly position player lines on the books. Our top 6 BP arms all currently have ERAs under 4.00 and K rates over 10/9. That doesnt include Kittridge who has an ERA under 2.00 and a K rate over 9. So seven decent- strong guys out there right now.
